Why I’m running for Congress
Why I’m Running for Congress
I didn’t grow up dreaming of holding political office. Like many of you, I built my life by working hard, solving problems, and showing up—day after day—for my business, my family, and my community. I’ve spent my career launching and growing companies, creating jobs, and navigating the endless maze of red tape that makes it harder every year for small businesses to survive.
At some point, frustration turned to resolve.
I’ve watched as the people in charge—many of whom have never had to meet a payroll or balance a budget—continue to pass laws and regulations that punish those of us trying to build something real. It’s not just inefficient; it’s unjust. And it’s costing our communities jobs, opportunities, and dignity.
That’s why I’m running for Congress.
This isn’t a decision I made lightly. I know how steep the hill is. I’m going up against an entrenched political class with deep pockets and powerful connections. But I believe—with everything I have—that the American Dream is worth fighting for.
My campaign is built on a few core beliefs:
Citizens’ Rights Come First – I will always stand up for your constitutional freedoms.
Small Business is the Backbone – We need to remove obstacles, not create them. Real prosperity comes from the ground up, not the top down.
Fix Our Roads, Bridges, and Ports – Our region is being left behind by decades of underinvestment in transportation. We must expand and modernize the infrastructure that connects our farms, fisheries, factories, and families to the rest of the country.
Rebuild the Middle Class – A thriving middle class starts with strong local businesses. When small businesses thrive, they create jobs, support families, and bring stability to communities. Reinvigorating the middle class is not just a goal—it’s the heart of why I’m running.
Accountability in Government – I support term limits and a ban on former politicians becoming lobbyists. Public service should be a duty, not a career path.
This campaign isn’t about me. It’s about all of us—those who are tired of watching Washington fail to listen. I’m not running to be a career politician. I’m running because I know what it means to build something from scratch, and I want to make it possible for others to do the same.
But I can't do it alone. I’ll need your help every step of the way—from spreading the word to contributing time, talent, or resources. If you believe we can do better, I ask you to join me.
Let’s reignite the American Dream. Together.
